Little Lincoln is a comprehensive, standards-based Kindergarten curriculum. Students enrolled in kindergarten will have the opportunity to become a part of an interactive 3D world where all standards for math, reading, writing, science, social studies, and visual arts are introduced and reinforced using a variety of media.

As members of the Kid Council, the students travel to the online world of Midlandia, where they interact with a multitude of sophisticated characters, solve problems, participate in interactive story-telling, sing songs, and play games to test comprehension and reinforce learning.

In addition, students will watch four teacher videos per day that are three to six minutes in length. The videos are designed to introduce and explain information in a fun, engaging, and visual way .In addition to their work on the computer, students will complete offline activities that are designed to emphasize the objectives that are introduced in their classes.

The offline materials will be provided as part of the curriculum, and include activity books, sight word books, and fiction books about the Midlandian characters for fun, supplemental reading. Every piece of the kindergarten curriculum is designed to achieve consistency and meaning throughout the student’s day. The combination of a compelling storyline, a visually appealing 3D world, and the opportunities for constant online and offline reinforcement result in a curriculum that is truly interdisciplinary and engaging for kindergarten students.
