Graduation Requirements

These graduation requirements are for students who entered High School in 2010 and will be graduating between now and 2013.

Requirements

  • Passage of the Ohio Graduation Test (All Five Parts)
English and Language Arts
  • 4 credits
Mathematics
  • 3 credits
Science
  • 3 credits
    • Must include one (1) credit of biological science and one (1) credit of physical science.
Social Studies
  • 3 credits
    • Must include 1/2 (.5) a credit in American History and 1/2 (.5) a credit in American Government.
Health
  • 1/2 (.5) credit
Physical Education
  • 1/2 (.5) credit
Electives
  • 6 credits
    • Must include either one (1) credit or two 1/2 (.5) credits in: Business, Technology, Fine Arts, or Foreign Language.
Total Credits: 20

These credits are required by the State of Ohio to receive a diploma from an accredited school. Please contact us for additional information.
