What are the enrollment requirements for QDA?

Students must be an Ohio resident, five years old by August 1st of the current school year, and under the age of twenty-two. For additional information about enrollment requirements, please click here.

What is the first step I need to do to apply at QDA?

Please complete a student application to begin the enrollment process. Parents and guardians filling out an applications for students under 18 should use this link and students 18 and over self-enrolling should use this link.

What happens after I fill out the student application?

The system will email you a link to our enrollment packet. You must fill out this packet to be considered for enrollment.

How do I submit Proof of Ohio Residency?

If you are unable to submit Proof of Residency by email or by bringing it to an office location, please call us toll-free at 1-866-968-7032 for additional options.

How quickly will my application be processed? 

Application processing can very depending on how quickly we receive academic records and all required enrollment documents. While we can enroll students without academic records, we strive to obtain these records to ensure students are placed in correct courses. If you wish, you may request academic records (official or unofficial) from your last school and provide them to QDA. Please be sure to check the email address listed on the student application as our enrollment staff will contact you if any information is outstanding. You may also use the form below to request application updates. If we are unable to reach you, your application will be put on hold.

Does QDA have enrollment windows?

Yes, due to State Testing we must close enrollment at specific points during the school year. State law may also prevent us from enrolling students when enrollment caps are met.

I received an Instructional Supervisor Assignment Email. What does that mean?

At QDA, each student is assigned an Instructional Supervisor to monitor their overall academic performance and to assist them during their enrollment with QDA. The IS will reach out to schedule an orientation to go over the system and help answer any questions students and their families may have.

Who should attend the New Student Orientation?

The student must attend orientation. It's highly recommended that a parent or guardian also attends the orientation.

When will the student be officially enrolled?

State law specifies that students can't be enrolled in our school until they have participated in a learning opportunity. Students must attend a new student orientation and begin working in their coursework to be considered enrolled. Quaker Digital Academy will send an official notice of enrollment to the last school the student attended. Students should not be withdrawn from their current school until orientation is completed.

When will I receive my QDA Computer System?

QDA provides a computer system (if requested) after orientation is completed.
