State law requires districts to administer the state-funded ACT or SAT to all 11th-grade students in the spring of their junior year. Quaker Digital Academy (QDA) offers the state-funded ACT to juniors. The ACT is a national standardized test that serves as a measurement of aptitude and critical thinking. ACT results can be used for the following purposes:
- Colleges review exam results when admitting students to their programs of study.
- Colleges and other organizations review exam results to determine eligibility for merit scholarships.
- By earning a remediation-free score on the ACT, a student can meet one of the four possible pathways to demonstrate competency required for graduation.
