Area Testing Administrator

Pay: $100 per session
Sessions: Up to 2 sessions per day
Areas of Testing: Dayton, Columbus, Athens, Cleveland, Youngstown

Job Overview

  • Check rooms to verify all necessary items are present before giving the exam to students.
  • Set up any technology equipment for the tests.
  • Log in to the testing site and acquire appropriate passcodes.
  • Check student identity during the check-in process.
  • Collect all mobile phones before testing.
  • Attend a secure testing session with the Testing Coordinator.
  • Explain test day procedures and rules to students.
  • Ensure a quiet environment for students.
  • Monitor the room to ensure everyone is working on the correct test and is logged in properly.
  • At the end of the testing session, ensure that testing is completed.
  • Complete Test Administer Training for various State Tests to ensure tests are delivered with fidelity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  • Effective communication skills with students and the testing coordinator.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer skills.
  • Teaching License/Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Retired teachers are encouraged to apply.
